About the Village Of Drummond
The Village of Drummond is a 41-home Village located on Drummond Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The Village was created in 1903 and became a special taxing district in 1916. Drummond is one of only three special taxing districts in Montgomery County to still exist. We are governed by a three-member Citizens Committee, composed of
Mayor, Secretary, and Treasurer, who are elected annually by Village residents. We celebrate our community with an annual block party in September and hold village-wide meetings in the spring and fall.
